We are ProtonWorks, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Staff Mobile Developer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across the team
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
What We're Looking For:
- History of influencing technical or product strategy at scale
- Exceptional mentorship and organizational leadership skills
- 8+ years of experience with increasing scope and impact
- Ability to work on ambiguous problems with limited direction
