We are EdgeCompute, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Lead Security Engineer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across the team
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment infrastructure
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Contribute to engineering roadmap planning and sprint execution
What We're Looking For:
- Track record of defining and executing on strategic initiatives
- Experience leading and growing high-performing teams
- Deep expertise in your domain with a broad technical perspective
- 7+ years of progressive experience in your field
- Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills
