We are Horizon Stack, a remote-first company building tools used by thousands of teams worldwide. Our engineering team is growing and we need a Junior Software Engineer to help us reach the next level. You will work alongside a senior team with high standards and a strong culture.
What You'll Do:
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers across the team
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define technical requirements
- Contribute to engineering roadmap planning and sprint execution
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability
- Identify and address technical debt to keep the codebase healthy
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Strong foundational skills in your area of expertise
- Proficiency with version control and collaboration tools
